The Northern Crowns are a Rock and Roll band from Las Cruces, New Mexico. They formed in March of 2009, with band members Richard Araiza and Clinton Van Arnam. These two members record everything and have a backup band for live shows. After forming in March, Richard and Clinton went to a Northern California townby the name of “Weed” for six weeks to record their debut self titled EP at Radio Star Studios. While at Radio Star Studios, they recorded with legendary producers and engineers such as Sylvia Massy, Wade Steigmeyer, Josh Dailey, and Rich Veltrop. People at Radio Star describe The Northern Crowns as, “A great change of pace from the modern day radio listen” (Wade Steigmeyer) “These boys can really rock!” (Sylvia Massy). From vast inspirations, The Northern Crowns bring a unique sound to modern day music both live and in recordings.
